Husband and wife work together!

Paul Joseph-Crank and Krystyna Wojcik both work in acrylics and watercolours and as husband and wife they occasionally find themselves sketching and painting from the same subject. Some of the results of their land and city interpretations will be displayed alongside each other at their joint exhibition ‘LandscapeCityscape’ at The Dolby Gallery in Oundle during April 2013.

Paul studied fine art at Manchester Polytechnic before taking up a career in graphic design and illustration, and Krystyna trained as an art teacher before joining forces with Paul to set up their own graphic design business, Catalyst Design Partnership.

Travel is a strong influence

Travel is a strong influence for both but whilst Paul is drawn to light and dark and patterning elements within a city environment, Krystyna’s paintings are darkly atmospheric across land and skyline.

You can see their work from 13 – 27 April at The Dolby Gallery, 30 West Street, Oundle, Northants PE8 4EF. Tel: 01832 273801 Email: simon.dolby@sky.com Website: www.dolby-gallery.com. The gallery’s opening times are Monday to Saturday 10am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm. The gallery is closed Wednesday afternoons & Sundays.
