HELLO FROM DIANE AND SALLY

As we are both new to the Parish Council we would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves.
I am Diane Davis, Clerk to the Parish Council, I took up the post at the end of November. I have lived in the village for over 11 years. For the last 20 years I have worked for Citizens Advice as a Money Adviser, Manager and most recently Area Training Officer. I did not really know too much about the village as I spent most of my time out of it and I decided I wanted to find out more.

Seeing the advert for Parish Clerk seemed perfect and I am pleased to say that I am thoroughly enjoying the job, and enjoying being a part of the community in which I live. Sally Dalley is the Clerical Assistant and has been in post since the beginning of October.

The Parish Council offices at 37 Green End Road are open from 9.00 until 1.00 Monday to Friday. Please drop in to say hello, it will be good to meet you.

We are looking at improving access to the website and until this is completed we will not be updating it. Minutes can be viewed at the library and the Parish Council offices. If you would like an electronic copy please e mail me – clerk@sawtry-pc.gov.uk
