FUNDRAISING EVENTS
CHRISTMAS BAZAAR
Thank you to all who
supported the event, just over £1000 was raised. As always, 10%
will go to CARESCO, 10% to our link parish in Malawi and the
remainder towards the huge cost of rewiring the church.
AN EVENING OF MUSIC AND FUN with Jennifer Thompson, accompanied by
Jacky Kirby
Saturday 8th December,
All Saints Church, 7.30pm. Tickets at £6-00 (concessions £5-00 and
under 16s free) are on sale NOW. Renowned soprano, Jen Thompson will
sing and delight us with a wide variety of songs from the world of
opera, operetta, the classical and popular repertoire. Jen's
personality shines through all her performance and she radiates fun
and delight to all. Jacky will play piano and organ to accompany Jen
and we are sure of a wonderful evening. Refreshments will be served
during the interval for which financial donations will be gratefully

CHRISTMAS COFFEE MORNING Tuesday 11th December, 10.30am - noon
A Christmas Coffee
Morning will be held at Chequers Cottage (on the Green nearly
opposite the Pharmacy), the home of Pam and Gordon Russell.
Admission is £1-50 which includes all refreshments. There will be a
Bring and Buy stall and a raffle will be held. All are welcome.
THE ANNUAL QUIZ Saturday 19th January Old School Hall
Get your thinking caps
on, get your teams sorted out and book your places at this very
popular event. Pete and Pat Ayres, Quizmasters Extraordinaire will
be posing questions on a wide range of subjects suitable for young
and old. It promises to be a fun evening and, as usual, supper will
be included. Tickets will be on sale shortly after Christmas. For
