Sawtry has two woods close by, Aversley Wood and Archers Wood. Both are the subject of conservation and are well tended. Both have enjoyable walks and a large variety of wildlife. Both Deerpark Road and The Maltings are relatively newly constructed. The Library, however, was completed in 1979. It is well equipped as both library and resource centre. It is situated on the Community College site. St Andrew's Churchyard is no longer used but is the subject of a conservation order and is maintained, in trust, by a conservation society organised through the churchwardens of All Saints Church.
