The College

Sawtry Community College is built right at the heart of the village. It is surrounded by housing constructed largely at the same time as the initial College construction (approx 1965).

The latest construction (in Louthe Way and College Court completed 1998-2000) brings to an end possible house construction in this part of the village.

A footpath leads from Louthe Way to Green End Road. Another leads from close to College Court, up the side of the College playing field passing the end of Cavendish Close en-route to Fen Lane.

With the construction of Bill Hall Way as a local village "by-pass", a footpath also exists from Gloucester Road to Bill Hall Way alongside the drainage dyke and across open fields.
