What’s New

Firstly, to recap on 2004, the Club membership has continued to grow, and an exhibition of members photographs was held In the Old School Hall, another high light was a visit to Peterborough Station, where members took well over 100 photographs between them. A demonstration of table top photography was held in the Club Room, followed by a hands on experience of using Photoshop CS, the results of which can be seen on the Photo Album page.

The Club held a “Family Portrait Day” in November, where residents of the village were invited to come along for a free Portrait sitting. This proved to be very popular, and will be repeated in 2005.

The Club’s December meeting was an enjoyable social affair held in the Club Room.

For 2005/6, Sawtry Camera Club have organised for it’s members, several additional summer evening meetings for camera shoots, and these are listed on the Meetings Page.

The images photographed on these evenings, will be the subject of a stand alone competition during a winter meetings. The date of which has yet to be announced.

Although we are still awaiting confirmation, visits to other camera clubs are planned, and will be announced later, not only within this site, but also in the Sawtry Eye.
